You would think that engaging a class full of students in such a vast and fascinating subject would be easy but that is not always the case. Bringing the world to life in the confinements of a classroom may require some clever technology. Text books are good and can show detailed diagrams and photographs to help students gain a greater understanding, however a true feeling for the subject can be hard to capture.?

We have tools such as Google Earth that enables us to zoom in on the four corners of our planet within seconds.
